Feeling the pressure at Allstate – is it just me?

Lately, the atmosphere at Allstate feels... different. More pressure, tighter budgets, and a general sense of uncertainty. My workload hasn't necessarily increased, but the expectation to do 'more with less' is palpable. I've seen some senior folks leave recently, and while they cited 'personal reasons,' it adds to the general unease. Are others feeling this? Is it just my division, or is this a company-wide vibe? I'm wondering if we're heading into a tougher period. It’s hard to ignore the undercurrent of anxiety when you’re at your desk every day. Curious to hear if anyone else is experiencing similar shifts or has heard any internal chatter about future plans. Trying to brace myself if needed.

I'm feeling it too. It's not just you. The 'more with less' mantra is definitely a thing, and it creates a constant hum of anxiety. Seeing experienced people walk away, even if they give other reasons, doesn't help. Makes you wonder about the long-term stability and whether it's worth the stress. Hoping for some clarity soon.

Yeah, my department has been under the same kind of pressure. It feels like they're trying to squeeze every last drop out of us without actually giving us more resources. The uncertainty is the worst part. You hear whispers and see people go, and it's hard not to connect the dots. Definitely a shift in the air lately.
