Is anyone else seeing a hiring freeze or slowdown at Allstate?

Hey everyone. Been with Allstate for a few years now in [department, e.g., IT/Claims/Marketing]. Lately, it feels like things have really slowed down. Open requisitions seem to be vanishing, and I haven't heard of any new teams being formed or significant new projects kicking off that would require substantial new hires. My manager is pretty tight-lipped, but the general vibe is that budgets are being scrutinized heavily. No official word on layoffs, and I'm not hearing anything concrete, but the lack of movement and the cautious atmosphere are making me a bit uneasy. Is anyone else in a similar boat? Seeing fewer external candidates getting offers, or internal transfers being put on hold? Curious if this is specific to my area or a broader company trend. Just trying to gauge the temperature.

I've noticed a similar trend myself. Been in [another department] for about five years and the pace definitely feels different. There used to be more movement and a sense of expansion, but lately it's been more about optimizing what we have. It's hard to say if it's a full freeze or just a very cautious approach to hiring. Fingers crossed it's just a temporary lull and things pick back up soon.
