Anyone else feeling the 'quiet freeze' after the July 20th news?

So the news dropped on the 20th about those ? cuts, and I'm in Florida. Ever since then, it feels like everything has just... stopped. No new projects are being greenlit, no hiring is happening (obviously), but even internal transfers seem to be on hold. My manager is cagey about everything, just saying 'we're reassessing priorities.' Feels like we're just waiting for the next shoe to drop. Anyone else in a similar boat? What are you hearing from your teams or leadership? Trying to figure out if this is just my department or a wider freeze affecting operations across the board. It’s making it hard to plan anything, career-wise or even just day-to-day work. The uncertainty is the worst part.
