Is the job market really that saturated?

0x28dd…0833Reading a lot about how tough the job market is right now, especially after these recent Amazon cuts. People are talking about engineers and other tech roles, but I'm seeing it in other areas too. It feels like every company is either laying people off or hiring very selectively. I've been browsing job boards and it seems like for every open position, there are hundreds of applicants. Is this just the new normal? Seems like companies are really optimizing and maybe even cutting roles that were previously considered stable. Curious to hear from others who are navigating this - how are you finding it, and what strategies are you using to stand out?
