Seriously?! This Place is Going Downhill

I'm so over this company. Seriously, what happened to the days when they actually valued their employees? Now it's just constant pressure, unrealistic deadlines, and management breathing down your neck. I've been busting my butt on this project for months, pulling all-nighters, and what do I get? A generic "meets expectations" on my last review. I'm in AWS, and even *we* are starting to feel the squeeze. If they're going to treat us like replaceable cogs in a machine, then they shouldn't be surprised when people start jumping ship. Honestly, I'm half-tempted to just walk out right now. My mental health can't take this anymore.

I hear you. It's rough out there. My buddy was in a similar situation a while back. He ended up transferring to a different team within AWS, one focused on a smaller project, and he's much happier now. Maybe look into internal transfers? Sometimes a change of scenery and a different manager can make all the difference.

Honestly, I'm not surprised. Big companies often prioritize profit over people eventually. AWS is a cash cow, so of course they're going to squeeze it for all it's worth. Maybe it's time to explore other options? There are plenty of startups and smaller companies that value their employees more. Just a thought.
