AEP - Anyone else feeling the pressure?

Lately, it feels like the workload has ramped up significantly, but there's also a strange sense of unease in the air at AEP. Management keeps talking about 'strategic realignment' and 'optimizing resources,' which, to me, often translates to doing more with less...or potentially, doing less with fewer people. I've noticed a few roles that were open for a while are no longer being advertised, and some internal projects seem to be on hold or scaled back. It's hard to ignore the feeling that something is brewing. I haven't seen any leaks or official news, but the general sentiment among colleagues seems to be one of cautious apprehension. Has anyone else noticed a change in the operational tempo or heard anything that might explain this shift? Wondering if this is just my department or a wider company trend. Trying to stay positive but also realistic about the situation.
