Hey everyone, posting anonymously here. Been with AEP for a few years now and lately, the atmosphere feels…different. Not sure if it's just my department or a wider thing, but there's a definite tension. Meetings are shorter, people seem a bit more guarded, and I've heard whispers about 'efficiency initiatives' and 'streamlining operations.' Nothing concrete, no official announcements, but the general feeling is that something is brewing. Are others experiencing this? Any insights from different divisions or locations? Trying to gauge if this is a company-wide concern or just something specific to where I'm at. Just want to get a sense of what's going on before things get serious. Any shared experiences or intel would be appreciated.

Yeah, I'm seeing some similar things in my area too. Definitely a feeling of unease, like things are shifting. It’s hard to put a finger on, but the buzz about restructuring and cost-saving measures is definitely making the rounds. Hoping it's just growing pains and not something more significant, but it's hard not to feel a bit apprehensive when the usual hum changes.

Interesting to hear others are noticing it. I've chalked some of it up to just the usual end-of-year crunch or maybe new management styles taking hold. But the 'efficiency' talk has been persistent. My team's been told to re-evaluate workflows, which sounds productive, but given the whispers, it feels a little more like a prelude to cuts. Curious to see if any official news breaks soon.
