AEP - Heard whispers about restructuring? Anyone have details?

Hey folks, I'm an engineer over at AEP and I've been hearing some low murmurs about potential organizational changes and restructuring coming down the pipeline. Nothing concrete, of course, but enough to make you wonder. Has anyone else picked up on anything similar? I'm not talking about outright layoffs right now, but more like shifts in departments, maybe some roles being consolidated or redefined. Curious if anyone has more direct information or has seen any internal communications that hint at this. Just trying to get a sense of what might be happening and prepare accordingly. Any insights would be appreciated.

Interesting post. As a long-time shareholder, I'm always keen to hear about operational efficiencies. Restructuring can sometimes be a sign of proactive management adapting to changing market dynamics or regulatory landscapes. Hopefully, any shifts are geared towards strengthening the company's long-term position and improving service reliability for customers. It's understandable that employees would be curious about what this means for their day-to-day roles.

I'm also an employee at AEP and have heard similar chatter. While it's unsettling not knowing the specifics, it's good to see others are noticing it too. I'm hoping it leads to a more streamlined and effective organization. My main concern is that it doesn't negatively impact our ability to serve the communities we operate in. Keeping an eye out for any official announcements.
