Amex - Anyone else noticing increased pressure on performance metrics?

Lately, it feels like the expectations on performance and hitting targets have ramped up significantly across the board. It's not just my team; I'm hearing similar sentiments from colleagues in different departments. The language around 'efficiency' and 'productivity' is everywhere in internal comms. While I understand the need to perform, the intensity feels higher than it used to be. Wondering if this is leading to increased stress and if anyone feels like their job security is being impacted by these heightened expectations. It's making me a bit anxious, honestly. Anyone else feeling this shift?

Yeah, I've definitely felt that. It seems like every quarter, the targets get a little bit steeper, and the emphasis on squeezing every ounce of productivity out of us is constant. The internal communications are certainly pushing that narrative hard. It's making things pretty intense, and honestly, it's hard not to feel the pressure and wonder about the long-term implications for everyone here.
