American Tower - Anyone else feeling the hiring freeze vibes?

Hey all, posting anonymously here because, well, you know. Been at ATC for a few years now and things feel…different lately. It used to be that if you had a solid headcount request, it would sail through. Now, even for critical roles, approvals are taking ages, if they're happening at all. Saw a couple of positions I was eyeing get taken down last week, and the internal communication is pretty vague. Feels like we're being squeezed, but no one's saying it out loud. Anyone else in the same boat? Is this a company-wide thing or just my region/department? Trying to get a read on the temperature here. Feels a bit tense.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed a slowdown. It's not just the hiring freeze, either. Project funding seems tighter, and there's a general sense of caution around new initiatives. Makes you wonder what's on the horizon. The lack of clear communication is the most frustrating part, though. Just hoping it's a temporary phase and not a sign of bigger shifts to come.

Totally feel you. The hiring process has been a black hole for weeks. We had a critical role open up that's been dragging its feet on approval, and it's impacting team workload. Seeing roles disappear without explanation is unsettling. Definitely getting that 'belt-tightening' vibe around here, and it's creating a lot of anxious energy.
