ATC - Anyone else noticing the increased scrutiny on projects?

Hey everyone, has anyone else felt a shift in how projects are being evaluated lately at ATC? It feels like everything is under a microscope, and approvals are taking way longer. Budgets are being questioned more aggressively, and there's a lot more 'need to justify' for even minor expenses. Is this just my team, or is it a broader trend across the company? I've heard whispers about 'efficiency drives' and 're-prioritization' but nothing concrete. Makes it hard to plan and execute effectively when you're constantly having to defend your work. Just trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or if I should be looking closer at my immediate management. Anyone else experiencing this? What's the general feeling on the ground?

Yeah, I've definitely noticed that too. It feels like the approvals process has slowed to a crawl, and the level of detail required for even basic budget requests is way beyond what it used to be. It's creating a lot of frustration and making it tough to keep projects moving forward on schedule. Feels like a top-down mandate, but nobody's really saying it explicitly.

I'm seeing the same thing. My team's been struggling with getting sign-offs for even relatively small purchases. It's like every dollar is being scrutinized with a magnifying glass. Planning has become a nightmare because you can't be sure if a project you thought was greenlit will suddenly face new hurdles or budget cuts down the line. Definitely a company-wide feeling, not just isolated incidents.
