Is American Tower slowing down hiring?

Hey everyone, has anyone else noticed a significant slowdown in hiring at American Tower recently? I've been keeping an eye on open roles across different departments and it seems like there are far fewer positions posted than a few months ago. My team's manager also made some vague comments about 'optimizing resources' during our last all-hands, which felt a little ominous. Not hearing any official news, but the vibe feels different. Just curious if others are seeing the same thing or if I'm overthinking it. Anyone have insights into what might be happening with the market or the company's strategy?

I've definitely noticed fewer postings too. It used to be a constant stream of opportunities, but lately, it feels much leaner. My department had a hiring freeze announced last quarter, citing 'market adjustments.' It's making me a bit nervous about future growth and stability within the company.

Interesting you bring this up. My experience has been similar. While my team isn't explicitly on a hiring freeze, the approval process for new roles has become incredibly protracted. We've had critical positions open for months with no movement. The 'optimizing resources' comment from your all-hands resonates; it feels like a cost-saving measure disguised as something else.
