Ametek - Anyone else's workload suddenly explode?

Seriously, what is going on with the workload at Ametek? For the past quarter, it's been absolutely insane. We're being asked to take on more responsibilities with the same headcount, and the deadlines are becoming borderline impossible. I've seen people burning out left and right, and it feels like we're being pushed to do more with less, constantly. I know companies go through cycles, but this feels different. It's like they're prepping for something, or maybe this is the 'new normal.' I'm wondering if this is a company-wide thing or specific to certain divisions. My manager gives vague answers when I bring it up, just saying 'we need to be agile' and 'focus on core priorities.' It's not exactly reassuring. Anyone else in a similar boat? Is this a sign of impending cuts, or just a desperate push before a potential reset? Trying to figure out if I should start polishing the resume or if this is just a temporary crunch. The constant pressure is really starting to get to me.
