Ametek - What's the vibe at your site?

Been hearing whispers and seeing some subtle shifts in workload distribution lately. Not sure if it's just seasonal fluctuations or something more. Anyone else in Ametek feeling a difference in the air? Seeing fewer folks around in some departments, or maybe just a hiring freeze across the board? Trying to gauge if it's a widespread thing or isolated incidents. My manager's been cagey about any big picture changes, just focusing on hitting current targets. Kind of a nervous energy, to be honest. Anyone have any intel or insights from their own divisions? Hoping it's just a minor readjustment, but the silence is deafening.

Yeah, I've noticed something similar. There's definitely been a bit of a slowdown in some areas, and it's hard to get a straight answer about what's going on. It feels like management is holding their cards close to their chest. I've been trying to keep my head down and focus on my own work, but the uncertainty is definitely palpable. It would be good to hear from others if they're experiencing the same, or if it's just our particular department.
