Amgen - Redundancy fears creeping in?

Lately, there's been a lot of chatter about 'efficiency' and 'streamlining' in our department. Management is using a lot of corporate speak, but it's hard not to feel a bit uneasy. Heard some whispers about potential restructuring in R&D, though nothing concrete. Has anyone else experienced this kind of talk recently? Trying to gauge if it's just general corporate noise or if there's something more to it. Any insights from other sites or departments would be appreciated.
