Anyone else feeling the pinch at Amphenol?

Hey everyone, throwing this out there anonymously. Been with Amphenol for a few years now, and lately, things have felt... different. Not necessarily layoffs, but there's a definite vibe of caution. Budgets seem tighter, hiring freezes on some roles, and a general sense of 'hunker down.' Anyone else in different departments or locations noticing this? It's making me a bit uneasy about the near future and whether to start dusting off the resume or just wait it out. Trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or if I'm just in a specific area that's feeling it more. Appreciate any insights.

Yeah, I've felt it too. Been in my current role for a while and the usual 'growth' projects seem to have slowed considerably. It's not just whispers anymore; you can see it in the resource allocation. Makes you wonder if it's a market-wide thing or specific to us. Definitely a more reserved atmosphere than I've experienced before.

Interesting to hear this. My department has definitely seen a shift in priorities. Less emphasis on new initiatives and more focus on optimizing existing processes. Hiring has also been really slow, even for critical positions. I'm trying to stay positive, but the cautious mood is hard to ignore. Appreciate you sharing your perspective anonymously.
