Hey folks, been at Ansys for a few years now, and lately things feel a bit... off. Heard whispers about a hiring freeze in some departments and a general slowdown in approvals for new initiatives. Anyone else in R&D or product management noticing this? Is it a departmental thing, or is there something broader going on? I'm trying to get a pulse on the situation without causing unnecessary panic, but it's hard not to feel a little uneasy with the current economic climate. I've definitely noticed a shift in recent months. Project timelines seem to be stretching, and getting budget approved for even minor software upgrades has become a much more drawn-out process than it used to be. It feels like there's a much tighter leash on spending across the board. I'm in a customer-facing role, and even our travel requests are under more scrutiny. It’s not just R&D; it seems like a company-wide sentiment right now.
