Ansys - Performance review timing and impact?

Just finished up my annual performance review cycle at Ansys. It felt a bit more intense this year, with a lot more emphasis on 'impact' and 'efficiency'. Wondering if this is a lead-up to something? Saw some older posts about past reorgs around this time of year. Is anyone else getting similar vibes from their managers? Specifically curious about how performance ratings are being communicated and what the general mood is around the rating distribution. Not trying to spread rumors, but trying to understand the company's direction and if my role is secure. Any chatter about potential headcount adjustments or shifts in strategic focus would be helpful to hear, even if it's anecdotal. Appreciate any transparency you can offer.

Yeah, I'm definitely feeling that shift too. The focus on 'impact' has been a constant theme in my team's discussions lately, and it does feel like they're really drilling down on demonstrating measurable outcomes. The efficiency angle is also up, pushing for faster project completion and resource optimization. It's making me a bit antsy about how it all shakes out in the final ratings, especially with how those are being communicated. Hoping for clarity, but the uncertainty is a bit unnerving.

My review felt pretty standard, but I've heard from colleagues that there's more emphasis on quantifiable results this cycle. It's not entirely surprising, given the market. Managers are definitely pushing for a clearer articulation of 'impact,' which can be subjective sometimes. As for rating distribution, haven't heard much concrete, but the general mood seems to be one of cautious optimism mixed with the usual end-of-cycle jitters. We'll see how it all plays out.
