Ansys - What's the real word on the street?

Hey everyone, seeing a lot of talk across different platforms, but nothing concrete about Ansys. Been with the company for a few years now, and while things have felt a bit...different lately, I haven't seen any official announcements or heard anything from management that points to layoffs. Is anyone else picking up on something? Are there whispers in specific departments or teams that I'm missing? Just trying to get a sense of the overall mood and if there's any shared anxiety or if it's just general market jitters affecting a lot of tech companies right now. Curious to hear from others, especially those in different roles or regions. Trying to stay positive and focus on my work, but the uncertainty is definitely a buzzkill. Anything anyone can share, even if it's just hearsay, would be appreciated.

I've been at Ansys for quite some time and have noticed some shifts in focus, particularly around resource allocation in certain R&D areas. While I haven't heard anything directly about layoffs, there's definitely a palpable sense of re-evaluation happening. Project priorities seem to be changing more frequently, and there's a quiet hum of uncertainty in some of the engineering teams. Management's messaging has been a bit vague, focusing on efficiency and strategic pivots, which, while standard business talk, doesn't always alleviate concerns.

Similar observations here. The "different" feeling is definitely there. It's less about overt negativity and more about a subtle change in tempo. Some teams are clearly leaner than they were a year or two ago, while others seem to be expanding their scope. It's hard to say if it's a strategic restructuring or something more concerning. I've heard a few anecdotal comments about internal reorganizations, but nothing concrete enough to point to a company-wide issue. Keeping an ear to the ground, but so far, it's mostly just speculation.
