Anyone else feeling the pinch at Ansys?

Hey everyone, longtime lurker here, but I felt compelled to finally post. I've been with Ansys for a few years now, and while it's generally been a good place to work, lately things feel...different. There's a lot of quiet uncertainty, and frankly, I'm starting to get a little worried. Has anyone else picked up on anything? Talk of hiring freezes, project slowdowns, or just a general 'vibe' that things aren't as stable as they used to be? Curious to hear if others are feeling the same or if it's just me overthinking things. Trying to gauge the temperature of the room, so to speak.

I've been noticing a similar shift myself. The usual buzz seems muted, and conversations about future projects feel more hesitant than usual. It's tough to pinpoint exactly what's causing it, but the 'quiet uncertainty' you mentioned definitely resonates. It's not outright panic, but more like a collective holding of breath, waiting to see what comes next. Hopefully, it's just a temporary lull and things will pick back up soon.

Honestly, I'm glad someone else brought this up. I've been trying to articulate that same feeling for a while now. There's definitely a different energy in the air compared to a year or two ago. It's more subtle than overt layoffs or major cutbacks, but the general sense of apprehension is palpable. I've heard a few whispers about budget reallocations, but nothing concrete. Just hoping for some clarity soon so we can all get back to focusing on the innovation Ansys is known for.
