Anyone else feeling the pressure? Rumors flying around ANSYS.

Hey everyone, been seeing a lot of whispers on here and elsewhere about potential cuts at ANSYS. I'm in the R&D department, been here for about 5 years now, and things have felt... tense lately. My manager has been really cagey in 1:1s, and we've had a couple of leadership town halls that felt more like damage control than actual updates. No official word, of course, but the vibe is definitely uneasy. Anyone else in other departments (Sales? Marketing? Support?) noticing anything similar? Or is it just R&D feeling the heat? Wondering if this is company-wide or specific to certain areas. Trying not to panic, but it's hard when you're constantly looking over your shoulder.

Yeah, I'm in engineering and the atmosphere has been pretty weird the last few weeks. Lots of quiet conversations and people looking over their shoulders. Leadership seems to be walking on eggshells during meetings. I'm trying not to get too worked up about rumors, but it's hard when the general mood is so uncertain. Just hoping for some clarity soon, whatever it might be. It's tough to plan or focus when you don't know what's coming.

Been here a while and honestly, these rumors pop up every few years. Sometimes they lead to something, sometimes it's just noise. Management is always going to be tight-lipped before anything is finalized. My advice? Focus on your work, keep your resume updated just in case, and try not to stress too much about speculation. Unless there's concrete news, it's mostly just anxiety fuel. Hope it blows over for everyone.
