Anyone else feel like internal movement has stalled?

It feels like the usual avenues for internal transfers or promotions have just dried up. Usually, there are a few postings a month that people are excited about, creating opportunities to move around or up. Lately, it's been crickets. I've seen a couple of internal roles posted, but they seem to be the same few positions that have been open for months, or they get filled almost immediately internally without much fanfare. Combined with the slower pace on new projects and the general 'efficiency' talk, it makes you wonder what the long-term plan is for internal talent. Are they just holding tight, or is something else going on?

I've noticed the same thing. It's definitely a different vibe around here lately. Makes you wonder what the long-term plan is for talent development when those opportunities seem to be disappearing. It's frustrating for those of us who are looking to grow within the company. Hopefully, things pick up soon, or at least there's some communication about what's causing the slowdown.

Yeah, the internal job board has been pretty bare lately. Feels like positions are either being held back or filled through less transparent channels. It's a bit disheartening when you're trying to advance your career and the usual paths just aren't there. Maybe it's a sign of a broader restructuring or a general belt-tightening. Either way, it's not ideal for morale.
