Lately, it feels like every single expense, no matter how small, is getting scrutinized to death. Used to be a pretty straightforward process for things like travel, training, or even basic office supplies. Now? It's like you need a presidential decree to get anything approved. Managers seem to be sweating every dollar. I've heard whispers about budget reviews being really tight across departments. It's making it hard to get work done efficiently, and honestly, it's a bit demoralizing. Feels like we're being nickel-and-dimed. Is this just my team or is it a wider company thing? Feels like a sign that belts are tightening, but for what reason?
