I was in the same boat and honestly, the silence is the worst part. It feels like they checked a box on a legal form and then completely erased us from their radar. My HR contacts have been useless, providing nothing but generic templates that don't answer specific questions about the benefits extensions. It’s dehumanizing to be treated like a rounding error after years of dedicated service. Keep pestering them, though; the more of us flooding their inboxes, the harder it is for them to ignore the fallout.
It is infuriating how they are framing this as a routine operational pivot. There is nothing routine about pulling the rug out from under 246 families with zero transparency on the final payout logistics. They clearly prioritize stock prices over the people who actually built their reputation. I finally got a vague response after calling the corporate line three times yesterday, but it was just more fluff. If you haven't already, start documenting every single interaction or lack thereof in case we need to collectively push back on the severance terms.
