Feeling like we're being asked to do more with less lately

Hey everyone, is it just me or has anyone else noticed a significant push to 'do more with less' across the board lately? It feels like the expectations are getting higher while the resources seem to be shrinking. I'm hearing more and more about efficiency targets and cost savings, but it's starting to impact our ability to actually deliver on projects effectively. We're spread thin, and frankly, I'm worried about the quality of our work taking a hit. Anyone else in a similar boat or have any insights into why this might be happening?

Absolutely feel this. It's like a constant juggling act where something's always about to drop. Been seeing it creep into every department, not just here. The pressure to hit ambitious targets with fewer people and tighter budgets is intense. It's definitely a balancing act, and sometimes it feels like we're leaning too far into 'less' and risking the 'quality' part of the equation. Hoping for some strategic adjustments soon.

I hear you. That 'do more with less' mantra is becoming the company's unofficial motto, it seems. The drive for efficiency is understandable, but when it starts to feel like cutting corners, that's a problem. We're all working hard, but the sheer volume of tasks versus available resources is definitely noticeable. It creates a lot of extra stress and can make you question if the end product will truly meet expectations. It's a tough environment to navigate right now.
