Uncertainty about future projects - anyone else?

Been hearing a lot of buzzwords like 'strategic realignment' and 'portfolio review' lately. It's starting to make me nervous because it feels like actual, tangible projects are getting put on the back burner, or worse, completely shelved without clear reasons. We're talking about things that were supposed to be key growth drivers just a year ago. Now, approvals are taking forever, and if they do get approved, the budgets seem significantly smaller than expected. It makes it hard to plan, and honestly, it's starting to impact motivation. Feels like we're in a holding pattern, but nobody's telling us what we're holding for. Is this just a temporary phase, or is anyone else seeing this as a sign of a larger strategic shift that might impact headcount down the line?

I'm feeling the same exact thing. It seems like there's a lot of internal shuffling going on, and it's creating a general sense of unease. Those projects that were previously high priorities now feel like they're stuck in limbo. It's frustrating when you're trying to make progress and keep hitting these roadblocks. Hopefully, there will be some clearer communication soon about what the actual direction is, so we can all get back to focusing on execution.

Totally get where you're coming from. The 'buzzwords' are definitely starting to feel more like smoke screens than actual strategy. It's tough to stay motivated when the ground keeps shifting beneath your feet. I've also noticed a significant slowdown in decision-making and resource allocation. Makes you wonder what the end game is for some of these initiatives. Definitely keeping a close eye on developments.
