AMAT - Just a gut feeling about Q4/early next year?

Throwaway account here. No direct layoff news, but I've been with Applied Materials for a few years now, and something feels... off. It's hard to put my finger on it. Project scopes seem to be shrinking a bit, and some internal initiatives that were previously greenlit are now suddenly 'under review'. Hiring has definitely slowed to a crawl, which isn't entirely surprising given the industry, but it feels more pronounced than usual. I haven't heard any whispers of major cuts, and management isn't saying much beyond the usual 'we're navigating a dynamic market'. But my gut is telling me we might see some adjustments, maybe early next year if things don't pick up or if the global situation deteriorates further. Anyone else getting this vibe? Or am I just being paranoid because I read too much on the internet? Just looking to see if others are sensing similar shifts in the air. Trying to prepare mentally, I guess.

While not hearing layoff rumors is good, those subtle shifts in resource allocation and initiative prioritization often precede bigger decisions.
