Anyone else feeling the pressure lately? Arista seems kinda quiet...

Been at Arista for about 5 years now, mostly on the hardware engineering side. Lately, the vibe has been... weird. Usually, there's a buzz, lots of planning and excitement about upcoming projects. But for the past few months, it feels like everyone's walking on eggshells. Meetings are shorter, people seem less engaged, and there's a lot more 'heads down' work happening. I haven't heard any official word, and our skip-level hasn't mentioned anything concrete, but the general quietness is starting to unnerve me. My manager is usually pretty open, but even they're deflecting questions about team structure and future roadmaps. Is anyone else in a different department or role experiencing this? Or is it just my team? Just trying to gauge if this is a broader company sentiment or if I'm just overthinking things. Curious to hear if others are feeling this shift.

Yeah, I've noticed a similar vibe on the software side too. Less cross-team collaboration, more siloed work. It's a bit unsettling when you're used to the usual Arista energy. I keep wondering if it's a market shift, budget tightening, or something else entirely. Honestly, I'm just trying to focus on my deliverables and hope things pick up. Interesting you bring this up. I'm newer to Arista, maybe a year or so, and I didn't have the same 'normal' to compare it to. My impression was that this was just how things were. But if you're seeing a definite change, that's concerning. My advice? Keep doing your best work and document everything. If things go south, having a clear record of your contributions is always good. Maybe try to have some informal chats with colleagues outside of official meetings to gauge their feelings too.
