Anyone else seeing increased 'Manager Review' talk?

Usually, my manager and I have a pretty chill relationship, but over the last month, we’ve had three 'alignment meetings' that were completely unnecessary. It feels like everyone in my org is suddenly being hyper-documented. I know we aren't a high-turnover company, but this feels different than our usual quarterly cycles. It’s making me nervous about my stock vesting schedule. If a layoff is actually coming, they’re doing a great job of keeping it quiet. Has anyone noticed their own skip-level meetings changing in tone lately? I’m trying to figure out if I need to dust off the resume or if this is just standard corporate paranoia creeping in.

It’s not just you. I’ve noticed the same push for constant 'documentation' and those vague alignment meetings recently. Whenever management starts obsessing over granular tracking, it’s rarely a good sign. At Arista, the culture has always felt fairly transparent, but this pivot toward hyper-oversight feels like they’re prepping a paper trail for something bigger. If you’re worried about your vesting schedule, definitely start keeping a personal log of your project wins now. Better to have it and not need it than to be caught off guard when the 'restructuring' hits.
