Rant: Done with the constant anxiety

Honestly, I'm so tired of this. Every few months, there's some new round of rumors about layoffs. It's exhausting trying to stay productive when you're constantly worried about losing your job. I bust my butt, consistently exceed expectations, and still feel like my head is on the chopping block. The lack of transparency from leadership is infuriating. Just be straight with us! I wish they'd come out and say either 'we are safe' or 'there are plans to cut'. This perpetual limbo is destroying morale. I love the work I do, but this stress is killing me. Seriously considering jumping ship just to find some peace of mind.

I feel you. It's rough. I went through something similar at my last company. The uncertainty is killer. Focus on what you *can* control – document your achievements, network internally, and keep your resume updated. That way, if the worst *does* happen, you're prepared. And honestly, sometimes just having a plan B makes the anxiety a little easier to handle. Good luck!

Seriously? Every big company has cycles of speculation. Atlassian is still a valuable company with major growth opportunities. Seems like you're letting rumors run your life. Instead of freaking out, maybe focus on building your skills and being indispensable. Show, don't tell, leadership why you're valuable. Excessive worrying will only kill your productivity and make you *more* likely to be cut, not less.
