Another round in New Boston: The writing is on the wall

I’ve been tracking the WARN notices for our Michigan ops and it’s honestly getting hard to keep count. Seeing another 75 people get the axe in New Boston just reinforces what most of us have felt for months—corporate is bleeding the site dry under the guise of 'operational realignment.' I’ve talked to a few folks who were caught up in it, and they were essentially locked out of their systems before the manager even finished the calendar invite. It’s the same cold, calculated exit package we’ve seen in previous quarters, just recycled for a new group. At this point, I don’t think anyone here feels safe regardless of their tenure or performance metrics. If you’re still sitting at your desk, keep your LinkedIn updated and your emergency fund stocked. It feels like they’re just trimming the fat to make the balance sheet look pretty for the next earnings call, regardless of the human cost. Does anyone have word on if they are planning to shutter the entire facility eventually, or is this just another 'limited' reduction?

It is honestly sickening to see how quickly they strip access. Being locked out before the meeting even ends is a pathetic way to treat people who gave years to this place. ADP stopped caring about the human element a long time ago. It is just another spreadsheet move to them, and New Boston is clearly on the chopping block to make the quarterly numbers look better for the shareholders. Stay safe out there and start polishing those resumes because the writing on the wall is in permanent marker now.

I have been tracking the trends across the region, and this realignment is just a euphemism for outsourcing and automation. It is unfortunate, but nobody at the corporate level considers the individual impact when they start carving up these regional offices. Everyone should be planning their exit strategy right now. If you are still there, keep your head down, back up your personal files, and start networking outside the company immediately. The culture has shifted, and frankly, it is not coming back.
