Anyone else caught in the 7/9 reduction? NW Houston office

Just checking in to see if I’m the only one still reeling from the news yesterday. They pulled us into the room around 10 AM, and it was over in less than 15 minutes. 174 people gone, just like that. I’ve been with BH for over five years, and the lack of transparency leading up to this was honestly insulting. They kept preaching about 'optimizing operations' while we were all hitting our KPIs, and then suddenly the axe falls on a Wednesday morning. I’m looking for anyone else who was affected to swap notes on the severance packages. The HR rep was incredibly vague about the benefits extension and the career coaching services they’re claiming to provide. Does anyone know if the insurance actually lasts through the end of the month, or are they cutting us off immediately? My inbox is a ghost town, and the anxiety of having to update my resume after half a decade is setting in hard. Let’s try to keep this thread focused on the logistics of moving forward, but I need to vent—this company has changed so much since I joined, and the culture of fear is finally just exhausting.
