Can't believe the news about the 174 layoffs at Baker Hughes on July 9th. It's hitting close to home here in NW Houston. Heard it was a significant number, and honestly, the atmosphere at work has been tense since. People are looking over their shoulders, and the whispers are nonstop. Just wondering if anyone else in NW Houston got hit or knows someone who did. Seems like the company is still consolidating or something.
