NW Houston BH - Anyone Else Feeling the Squeeze?

Another day, another layoff announcement. July 9th this time, around 174 folks let go, primarily in NW Houston according to the news. It's becoming a pattern, and frankly, it's getting demoralizing. You put in the work, try to be a valuable asset, and then this happens. I've got friends and colleagues in the area, and the whispers are always there. Just wondering how widespread this was and if anyone's willing to share what they're hearing on the ground. Was it specific departments? Performance-based? Or just a blanket reduction? It's tough to get clear answers, and the uncertainty is probably the worst part. Makes you question your own job security. Anyone else in NW Houston feeling this directly or indirectly?
