Ball Corp - What's with all the 'reorgs' lately?

Hey everyone, has anyone else been feeling a weird vibe at Ball lately? Been here a few years and things usually feel pretty stable, but lately it's been a constant stream of 'realignments' and 'strategic adjustments'. Feels like every other week a different department is being 'optimized'. My manager keeps talking about 'streamlining processes' and 'synergies' but it all just sounds like corporate jargon for something else. Nobody's explicitly saying layoffs, but the constant shuffling and the hushed conversations are starting to make me nervous. Anyone else in materials seeing this or experiencing something similar? Wondering if it's just my division or a company-wide thing. Trying to stay calm but it's hard when the ground feels like it's shifting under your feet. Just looking for some shared experience or insight here.

I've noticed it too. It definitely feels like a lot of moving pieces lately, and the buzzwords are flying. It's unsettling when the structure keeps shifting, even if nothing concrete like layoffs has been announced. Makes you wonder what the long-term plan really is and if the constant 'adjustments' are truly leading to anything positive or just creating more uncertainty for everyone.

Yeah, the 'strategic adjustments' seem to be the new normal. It creates a lot of noise and distraction, doesn't it? People are spending more time trying to figure out who's doing what and where they fit in, rather than focusing on the actual work. Hopefully, all this shuffling eventually leads to some clarity and stability, because right now, it feels like we're just spinning our wheels.
