Ball Corporation: Any whispers about headcount freeze or hiring slowdowns?

Hey everyone, been with Ball for a few years now and things have been pretty stable. Lately though, I've noticed a definite shift. Some roles I expected to be backfilled haven't been, and there's been talk of a temporary hiring freeze, although nothing official has been communicated. Department budgets seem tighter too, with less emphasis on new hires and more on optimizing existing teams. Is anyone else picking up on this? Wondering if it's a company-wide thing or just specific divisions. Trying to gauge the overall sentiment and if I should be more concerned about job security moving forward. Any insights from those in different departments or leadership roles would be greatly appreciated.

I've heard similar rumblings across a couple of different departments. It feels like a strategic shift towards efficiency rather than aggressive expansion, at least for the immediate future. Budgets do seem to be under more scrutiny, and there's definitely a focus on retaining current talent and ensuring existing projects stay on track. Hopefully, it's a temporary adjustment as the market finds its footing.

Yeah, definitely noticing a slowdown in recruitment efforts. What used to be a relatively quick hiring process seems to be dragging significantly. My team is also feeling the pinch with a tighter budget, and we've had to prioritize essential roles.
