Anyone else feel the pressure? Layoff whispers getting louder

Hey everyone, been at BoA for a few years now in [department]. Lately, the vibe has been... tense. Heard some whispers from colleagues about potential restructuring and headcount reviews. Nothing concrete, but the water cooler talk is definitely leaning towards cuts. With all the talk about efficiency drives and tech investments, I'm starting to get a little nervous about job security. Anyone else in a similar boat or heard any more specific rumors? Trying to stay optimistic, but it's hard when the uncertainty is palpable. What departments are seeing the most heat, if anything is even known yet?

I've been with BofA for a while now, and yeah, the chatter about efficiency is constant. It feels like every few years we go through a round of 'optimizing' that usually means fewer people doing more work. It's tough not to worry, especially when you see teams shrinking or projects getting consolidated. Just trying to focus on my own performance and hope for the best, but it's definitely unsettling.
