Concerns about potential upcoming layoffs at BBW?

Hey everyone, I'm relatively new to this forum but have been following BBW for a while. There's been a lot of talk about the retail sector in general, and I'm starting to get a bit antsy about Bath & Body Works specifically. While there haven't been any official WARN notices or widespread news, I've noticed a significant increase in job postings for corporate roles that seem to duplicate existing functions, and also a simultaneous slowdown in hiring for some operational positions. It's got me wondering if there's a restructuring or consolidation on the horizon that could lead to layoffs. Has anyone else picked up on anything similar, or have any insights into the company's current financial health that might suggest this? Trying to stay ahead of the curve if possible.

I've been keeping an eye on things too, and your observations about the job postings are spot on. It's hard not to feel a little uneasy when you see that kind of activity. Interesting take. I haven't delved into the corporate job boards myself, but I can see how that might raise eyebrows. My worry is more about the store level – sales have felt a bit sluggish lately, and I've seen some hours cut for my team. It's a tough balance for them, trying to manage costs while keeping the customer experience positive. Just hoping for stability for all the employees.
