I've definitely noticed something similar at my store. It's like they're trying to squeeze every last drop out of the staff they have. We're constantly running around trying to keep up with restocking, customer service, and whatever else they throw at us, all while dealing with fewer people on the floor. It's frustrating, and I'm worried it's going to lead to burnout for a lot of us. Makes you wonder what the long-term plan is.
Been hearing this from friends who work at other locations too. It's not just your district. Seems like a trend across the board. The pressure to hit sales targets hasn't decreased, but the resources to do so certainly have. It makes for a really tough work environment when you're constantly short-staffed and expected to perform miracles. Hope they address it soon.
