Rumors flying - anyone have the inside scoop?

Been working at BBW for a few years now, and I've seen ups and downs. This last quarter feels...different though. Sales were okay during the holidays, but it wasn't the blowout everyone was hoping for, I think. Now, there's this weird vibe in the air. Talk of 'streamlining operations' and 'optimizing our workforce' is circulating. My SM is being super cagey, which is usually a bad sign. It's making me nervous about job security. Are they planning to cut back on hours, or is it more serious? I've seen posts about potential layoffs in other retail sectors, and I'm starting to wonder if BBW is going to follow suit. Anyone heard anything more concrete from corporate or their DMs? Just trying to get a handle on what might be happening before it actually happens. Would appreciate any info, even if it's just gossip. Trying to prepare myself mentally, at least.
