Baxter - Experiencing significant project delays and resource constraints

Is anyone else's team struggling with getting resources allocated lately? My project, which was supposed to kick off last quarter, is still on hold because headcount approvals are stalled. We're being asked to do more with less, and the pressure is mounting. It's starting to feel like a precursor to something bigger, like a restructuring or, dare I say, layoffs. It's just weird because there's no communication from leadership about budget challenges or strategic shifts. Just the silent pressure. Is this just my perception, or are others feeling this lack of investment in ongoing projects and teams? Feels like we're being set up to fail if we can't get the support we need.

I hear you. It's incredibly frustrating when projects are stalled not for lack of good ideas or dedicated people, but because of bureaucratic bottlenecks on resource allocation. The 'do more with less' mantra is getting old and is unsustainable in the long run. The lack of clear communication from leadership only adds to the anxiety. It would be better to have an honest conversation about challenges than to let the silence breed speculation and erode morale. Hopefully, things will clear up soon.

Same here. We're seeing the same resource constraints and project delays. It feels like every request is met with a 'we'll look into it' but nothing actually moves forward. The pressure is definitely on to deliver without the necessary support, and it's creating a lot of burnout. It's understandable why people are worried about what this might signal for the future. Transparency would go a long way in managing expectations and alleviating some of this uncertainty.
