Baxter - Milwaukee layoffs: What's the story?

The WARN notice for Milwaukee just dropped – 32 people out by the end of August. I'm not in that location, but it's hard to ignore. Anyone there have any inside scoop on what went down? Was it a specific division, or more of a general cut? It feels like there's always something brewing with these companies, and these WARN notices are usually the first public sign. Curious if anyone got any heads up or if it was totally out of the blue for those affected. Hoping for the best for those impacted, but it definitely adds to the general anxiety. Anyone in other divisions seeing ripple effects or hearing whispers?

Saw the WARN notice too. It's never good news to see job cuts announced, especially with little detail. My guess is it's a strategic realignment, maybe focusing resources on other areas or consolidating operations. Hard to say without more info, but these types of announcements often signal a broader shift in company direction, whether it's product lines or market focus. Hopefully, those affected have some support during this transition. Praying for good outcomes for everyone involved.
