I've heard similar sentiments, though nothing concrete has materialized in my area. It feels like management is constantly evaluating the portfolio, which naturally leads to some anxiety about where the chips might fall. Focusing on core strengths is good long-term, but the transition periods are always a bit nerve-wracking for those on the ground. Hopefully, it's more about strategic realignment than significant cuts.
Yeah, the 'hum' is definitely audible. While official announcements are scarce, there's an undercurrent of change management being discussed. Some teams are certainly being asked to do more with less, and there's speculation about which product lines might see further investment versus those that are being deprioritized. It's a wait-and-see game right now for many of us.
