I've been hearing similar rumblings across different departments. It feels like a constant state of flux, and the 'efficiency drives' are definitely putting pressure on existing teams. People leaving and the workload staying the same is a recipe for burnout, no doubt about it. Management seems to be prioritizing cost-cutting over employee well-being, which is a worrying trend.
That's concerning to hear. The 'early retirement packages' and 'strategic realignments' often signal a deeper restructuring, and it's rarely without consequence for those remaining. If people are leaving and the work still needs to get done, it's inevitably going to fall on the shoulders of fewer people. Hope things stabilize soon.
