I feel the exact same way. The constant restructuring has made it impossible to commit to long-term goals because the ground is always shifting beneath us. After the Tempe news, the morale here has completely bottomed out. It’s hard to justify putting in extra hours or taking ownership of projects when there’s a looming fear that your role will be redundant by the next quarter. I’m definitely updating my resume, as I just don’t see a stable future here anymore. It’s sad to see what this culture has become.
Honestly, I stopped treating this as a 'career' years ago and started treating it as just a job. The strategy seems to be perpetual disruption rather than actual growth, which keeps everyone on edge. If you are looking for long-term stability, this probably isn't the right place to be. I’ve seen so many talented people walk out the door recently that it’s hard to imagine being here in five years. Don't let the corporate messaging get to you; protect your peace and look for an environment where you are actually valued.
