Hey everyone, been seeing some noise on other sites about Geek Squad layoffs. Haven't heard anything concrete from my end, but it's definitely got people talking. Anyone in GS or who works closely with them hearing anything? Or is this just the usual end-of-year wind blowing through? Trying to gauge if this is something to actually worry about or just internet speculation based on past events. My SM is pretty tight-lipped as usual. Just hoping things stay stable.

Haven't heard any direct news about Geek Squad layoffs from anyone I know within Best Buy, and honestly, it's usually pretty quiet around here unless something major is happening. The end-of-year can always be a bit uncertain for staffing across retail, but without any official communication or even strong whispers from management, I'd lean towards it being more speculation than a concrete issue. It's understandable to be concerned, though, especially with how much things can change in this industry. Let's hope for stability for everyone.
