Bio-Rad LSI - Any news on potential workforce changes?

Alright folks, I'm going to put this out there because I've been hearing some murmurs and it's starting to get a little loud for comfort. Specifically within the Life Science group (LSI) at Bio-Rad, there's been talk for a while now about potential workforce reductions. I haven't seen any official announcements or been directly impacted, but the conversations in virtual hallways and on Slack channels are getting more frequent and more pointed. I've seen similar patterns at previous companies before layoffs hit, so I'm not trying to spread panic, but rather to see if anyone has actual information or has been given any more direct signals than what's being circulated. Are there specific business units that are rumored to be affected? Any departments that have seen hiring freezes or significant project slowdowns? If anyone has concrete news, even if it's just an official 'no comment' from HR or management that still confirms something is brewing, please share. Trying to get a clearer picture of the situation. I've been with Bio-Rad for a while now, and while I haven't heard anything concrete about LSI specifically, the market has been pretty volatile across the board. It's always stressful when there are rumors, but sometimes these things are just noise. I'm hoping it's nothing substantial, but it's understandable why people are concerned. Keeping an eye out for any official communications.

That's unsettling to hear. I'm in a different division but the general atmosphere has felt a bit uncertain lately. It's tough when you're hearing whispers and not getting clear answers.
