I feel you. I left Block a while back for similar reasons. The bloat is real. It’s like they forgot how to be nimble. All that potential, just bogged down in process. Don’t let it grind you down. Start looking around now while you still have your sanity. There are plenty of companies that value speed and actual output.
While I understand the frustration, remember that startups are chaotic for a reason. They often cut corners and burn people out. Block's size means more structure, which isn't inherently bad. Maybe try to identify specific bottlenecks in your team's workflow and propose solutions? Document everything. Coming with data and suggestions is more effective than just complaining, even if it feels like shouting into the void.
