Anyone else in Ireland get the invite for the 'all-hands' meeting?

Just saw the invite pop up for tomorrow morning and my heart honestly sank. Given what went down on the 31st, the timing feels way too suspicious to be just another quarterly update. It feels like they’re trying to keep the messaging contained before the news hits the local papers. My manager has been completely MIA all week, avoiding 1:1s and acting weirdly guarded. If this is another round of restructuring, they really need to just rip the bandage off instead of keeping us in this state of perpetual anxiety. Anyone hear anything from HR or whispers in the canteen? I’m checking my personal email every hour just in case they send a calendar lock-out notice before the meeting starts. Really hoping I’m just being paranoid, but after seeing the reports from the Costa Rica side, it’s hard to stay optimistic.

I received the notification as well, and the atmosphere in the office is incredibly tense right now. Everyone is whispering near the coffee machines because we all know the drill. If they were planning a simple roadmap update, they wouldn't be locking down the calendar like this or dodging direct questions from the team leads. I’ve started updating my CV just in case, because the silence from leadership is usually the loudest warning sign we get before they announce a headcount reduction. It is beyond frustrating to be left guessing while our livelihoods are potentially on the line.

Honestly, try not to spiral until you actually hear the presentation. These meetings happen periodically for global alignment, and while the optics aren't great given the recent developments, assuming the worst immediately will only drive you crazy. Managers are often just as out of the loop as we are, which explains why they might be acting distant or evasive; they are likely waiting for the same corporate scripts we are about to hear. Keep your head down, do your work, and wait for the official recording before you start packing your desk.
