Is the CR site next for more cuts after July?

I’ve been hearing rumblings that the July 31 round wasn’t the end of it for the Costa Rica operations. We saw the news about the headcount reduction, but the tone in the office lately feels like we're just waiting for the other shoe to drop. Leadership keeps talking about 'operational efficiency' and 'realigning resources,' which is corporate speak for 'more people need to go.' I’ve been with BSX for over four years, and I’ve never seen the atmosphere this tense. People are constantly checking their calendars for surprise 'sync' invites. If you're based in Coyol or any of the surrounding hubs, are you hearing anything from your leads? I know the official word is that the restructuring is largely settled, but the rumors suggest otherwise. Trying to decide if it’s time to polish the resume and start looking elsewhere before the next wave hits. It’s hard to stay focused when you’re constantly looking over your shoulder. Honestly, I’m exhausted by the uncertainty.

The leadership team is definitely using 'operational efficiency' as a smokescreen for further trimming. Everyone I talk to in the plant feels like they are walking on eggshells. If you look at the recent budget shifts and the way they are consolidating regional workflows, it’s pretty obvious that the July cuts were just the start. Start polishing your resume now; it’s better to be prepared for the worst than to get caught off guard when the next round of notifications hits your inbox.

I'm not sure if another major wave is imminent, but it’s hard to ignore the anxiety in the building. Management is being incredibly vague, which is usually their way of avoiding direct questions until the paperwork is already drafted. Whether it’s another round of layoffs or just aggressive 'restructuring,' the stability we used to rely on here is clearly gone. Keep your head down and focus on your own projects for now, but don't count on things settling down anytime soon.
